To start with you need to follow some basics and just like a bank account if you want to save some money by spending less than you earn well you must burn more calories than you are eating, by cutting down on the calories you consume you are already on the path to a slimmer belly, reducing your calorie intake can be extremely effective in burning this belly fat and loosing weight overall.

The bonus in just cutting down on your calories is that you don’t have to change what you are already eating less you want too, you can carry on the same just eating less of it and still loose weight!

One note I want to make is that this doesn’t mean you can starve yourself then pig out on your favourite chocolate gateau everything in moderation….

Try to cut out most of the processed food in your diet this also includes fizzy drinks/ sodas as they just add calories without actually giving you any benefit just satisfying the taste buds making you want more and more.  Soda contains a lot of processed sugar and can add unwanted calories to your diet. That is a possible 450 – 600 calories of unneeded calories per day , also I’d like to add diet sodas avoid these at all costs this is a whole other subject that you can find in one of my other articles.

Good old water is your best bet and especially if you are exercising drink lots of the stuff, adding a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon cam be refreshing and very good in alkalizing the system, even though lemons are thought of as acidic it has the opposite effect on the body and neutralizes the acidity found in the body usually in overweight people or people that have a bad unbalanced diet.

Exercising regularly will speed up the process of fat burning and will give you lots of additional benefits such as increased amounts of energy. The more calories you burn the more of that belly fat you’ll loose!

So get exercising asap, even if it means parking the car further away from your desired destination and walking the rest of the way as daily walking can be great if you have been used to driving everywhere and have a job that required sitting at a desk all day.

Other exercise that can involve muscle building if that’s what you’ll after I would recommend that if you have a lot of fat to loose, loose the fat first before building the muscle otherwise you’ll end up having nice firm muscles with fat on top nor what you want if you are trying for a six pack anyway stick to one thing at a time focus on burning the fat first with cardio to increase and speed up the results.
